Life in Alaska is rough around the edges. It’s one of the reasons we love it. Bears and moose wander through our yard in the summer, northern lights whip overhead during winter, and we carry on as normal, never taking these gifts for granted. This blog focuses on noticing these offerings and trying to live close to the earth in the Last Frontier.

Love your blog, Alaskan gal. My husband is drooling over the moose/bear photos. Can you guess where he would take me on the next vacation? 🙂 Glad you found me, and look forward to reading more of your posts.
Thank you so much! Come visit Alaska anytime! And look me up.
Thank you! I’m looking forward to reading yours, too. I have relatives in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Maybe they’re your neighbors!
Susan,
I’ve read several of your postings. And love the intro to your blog in the “About” section. Give my best to all and keep writing!
Thanks, Paula. It’s finally raining today, so it’s a good day to write!
Your blog is just lovely, the words and the pictures. I am hooked! 🙂
